Amazing review for the episode 5. I had such similar thoughts while watching the same. Rhaenyra is too much invested in proving her legitimacy rather than governing, and she is weak as well. What my thoughts went through after watching the real struggle of getting into power just because you are the heir was the actual leader for a realm should be elected, which is the conclusion of GoT itself. These episodes of HoTD genuinely potrays the struggle of system, the politics, the people, the power everything which are equally important than dragons and battles.
Thank you so much 🙏🏽 you’re right just because somebody is the heir doesn’t mean they have the personality and strength to rule a kingdom. It’s very interesting because it really puts into question the idea of royal families being in power or power being inherited rather than earned. But then, even with some of the characters who do take power or earn it, they aren’t always fit to rule either. House of Dragon plays with those ideas so very well. It’s always such a fascinating topic to think about and discuss!
